Ayla sometimes comes across as a drifting conscience naively stifling through her ideals in an endless dream; however, her conscious thoughts are unceasing, instead brimming with considerations for the realistically applicable. This manner of thinking eludes to a pensive and detached state of mind, as she's often conducting large scale, complex plans. Truthfully, Ayla is relaxed and friendly, mainly when around familiar and comforting faces, typically those sharing her interests. On the other hand, this manner of social conduct can be replaced by overwhelming skepticism when among strangers, and in case of those not well understood friendly banter quickly shifts to an aggressive approach to the conversation. In extreme cases, she may turn to combat when in difference between her and another's end goal or ideals. More specifically, if their intentions threatens her own.
[break][break]
"Cognition" is a fundamental aspect to Ayla's personality; by extension she is unlikely to properly comprehend others' emotions and their expressions, verbal or visual. In the eyes of her friends and allies, it's known that Ayla is anything but a bedrock of emotional support, setting aside a facade she might present under the circumstances. Similar people likely prefer a series of logical suggestions to the desired result on how to resolve the underlying issue--a perspective not always welcomed by the socially obliged. This disposition extends to most social conventions and goals, for example planning excursions or some other pre-engaged matters with emotionally sensitive context.
[break][break]
Where logical input is insufficient, Ayla typically taps into her impulsive nature among a wide array of quirks at disposal. Most everything she does in these situations is a result of her instinctual, on-the-spot conjured theories, regardless of the circumstance. Flip the coin, and most circumstances of little strategic value from a conservative perspective will be handled by basic, naturally thought out actions. In which case, the common 'rationale' is rarely considered.
[break][break]
With ultimate motivations taken out of the picture, the 'casual' Ayla steps away from complexity, and who she is at her core is revealed. Ayla's open-mindedness is a trait reflecting her interests in all fields: from culture to art, archeology to maths. In this state, many of her most fundamental traits comes out as imaginitive, creative, stretchingly a 'seeker of cultural and educational experiences'. Her practical and straight-forward demeanor is only surface-level. At the same time, alongside most of the youth, Ayla is prone to a quick shift in the emotional spectrum, from a joyful disposition to an ocean of negative feelings at the spur of a moment.

[attr="class","MAbody"] [attr="class","MAHwrapper"] [attr="class","MAHformat"] Inception
By the fabric of Brahman, seamed by Brahma's hands, another Asuri was born of the to one of the many layers and aspects of the Samsara's Naraka. In many ways, her circumstance was just the same as any other Asuri born to manage a layer of Hell, in that nothing was around her. Nobody, and nothing. Shurpa--as she soon came to name herself--found hegemony over an entirely barren layer, for which her title meant nothing. That realisation came to define her.
[break][break]
Shurpa scoured her home, vying to understand every bit of it. If it was hers to own, command, and manage, then it would be wise to understand it to completion. Unfortunately, there was little to understand, because little occupied it. The asuri found that very much of the commanding power vested in her had nowhere to be bestowed, and thus it was worthless. This ideology transformed into the concept of her own self being of no worth.
[break][break]
With this in mind, Shurpa discovered her second emotion; first curiosity, second depression. Her first philosophical thought was that there was nothing to her, and that with nothing around her, there was also absolutely nothing to defy this line of thinking. And yet, she came to dislike it. Not sure what to do with what she knew, Shurpa sought something to change that paradigm. If she had no worth, then she must simply create her own worth. It wouldn't be that difficult, would it? Brahma had gifted her an entire space of Hell. It was a trivial objective.
[break][break]
Thus, Shurpa went on to explore her powers and look out of her realm to see the world outside of it. For a while she was filled with absolute wonder, and a desire to scourge the entirety of the universe around her, not just the bubble that was her layer of hell. But, that wasn't where her end-goal lied. Being out there obviously wasn't what she needed; Shurpa was made for this layer that she commanded. To defy that purpose, despite the little attachment she felt for it, was counter-intuitive to her entire ideology.
[break][break]
Thus, Shurpa did the opposite and finally opened her layer, allowing outside influences to come into it. And it worked. As she opened her layer, souls to be punished came pouring in. To accentuate filling her realm with life, the asuri also took it upon herself to fill it with life. Molding the energies at her disposal in similar fashion to her father Brahma, Shurpa made her own forms of life based on what she understood about it. Through this melding of creatures with some degree of free-will and individual thought, Shurpa's intent was to hopefully find something non-linear--a concept out of her control and reach. So that she may find a sense of purpose beyond the soulless and bland "management and torture of the damned".
[break][break]
Determination
Several experiences came by as her realm began to flourish, and subsocieties of rakshasa, yaksha, souls, creatures of all kinds started coming. In a way, Shurpa's realm became a world of its own, with her part to play being anything she arbitrarily decided. On occasion Shurpa partook in these societies and their formed cultures. When wars occurred, she would either stay as an observer, other times participate on whichever side she fancied more. Most enjoyable were kingdoms made to oppose her own hegemony, wherein crushing their fanatical overreaching dreams was very pleasurable.
[break][break]
But all these experiences still left her grasping at intangible answers to her existential questions. The asuri did all that she could, replicating what the outside realms held in her own to get a better, closer look; the lives she made and the lives that entered her domain, she split apart, tearing people limb from limb to find exactly what makes other people tick, because clearly some of these people had answers to justify their own continuous existence, whereas she did not. The curiosity driving her only served to expand in a desperate series of attempts to give herself purpose, each time falling short.
[break][break]
Eventually, Shurpa becomes sure of the natural difficulty in finding the answer to these questions. Beyond that, she found certainty that this natural difficulty is intrinsic to her status as an asuri. The binding, inherent and sole purpose innate to her creation was to be a guardian of hell, and it was debilitating. As she had met no other asuri of the same role, it Was only assumed that this was her defining trait and disposition. For that, like many other asuri, she sought strength and status beyond her reach.
[break][break]
Her new goal was to reach freedom from her status. But it wasn't enough to just take leave from her layer and explore the outside worlds. All that was only temporary; she would still be intrinsically tied to, dependent on, and subservient to the needs of Naraka. So Shurpa kicked into high-drive and pursued true and proper freedom: the samsara.
[break][break]
AMBITION
Of course, it was no easy task for a direct creation of Brahma to find solace in death. As an asuri of immense power, most means to meet her end were futile. The only reliable method was to run free of her karma, but even that was an insurmountable task. Accruing good karma might find her ascent to the heavens, rewarded with freedom from Hell, but that was only a change of status. It would only move the source of her shackles from one realm to the next--that was not true freedom. Fortunately, Shurpa was a very determined individual.
[break][break]
The asuri was more than well acquainted with many pantheons. Her strength to traverse the realms, form whole beings, and her inquisitive, sociophilic nature made accruing friends an inevitability. It was through these travels that she came to the mortal realm and met an accursed goddess. Through their friendship, Shurpa leveraged a favour. Should she perish, this goddess of death would care for an avatar, formed by one of Shurpa's three-faces. If her favour was to be honoured, then the favour would be returned through her avatar, the secret to wandering the many worlds of this universe. Although there could be no way of determining the substance of this promise, the goddess of death accepted. Soon after their exchange, the lifeless husk in the goddess's care came to life, a mere fragment of a late acquaintance.

This inherently allows her to get an idea of certain parametres of even people, albeit somewhat vague. If she looked in a mirror, she could see the progress of her craftsmanship or understanding of weapon handling and magic theory; if Ayla looked at a harvested mineral or material, she could understand the rudimentary make-up and properties of the object at a glance.
