+ IZANAMI FAMILIA [attr="class","MItxtbox"] [attr="class","MAextra"]

[attr="class","MAmonstername"]IZANAMI
[attr="class","MAmonsterinfo"]HEAD OF THE HOUSE - N/A

[attr="class","MAmonsterbox"] [attr="class","MAmonsterboxtxt"] Description: The Izanami Familia is one of many familia's that make up the adventuring group in Orario. Most of her children are known as brilliant mages, as she scopes out and is influenced by adventurers that are magically inclined. As a divine, she is well known, though not always seen as optimal company. The rather melancholy god is hard to hold a conversation with if not direct, but compared to many other gods who are opposite in behavior, she is an inviting sight. [break][break] As a whole, the familia is underway with a guild sanctioned research project; in finding usable substances that the Dungeon provides. At the moment, they have not scratched the surface of possibilities. [break][break] House of Death: Despite what their god is known for, and appearances, the House of Death is in no means dangerous or intimidating. Located on the outskirts of Orario, is the House of Death, a tall layered castle resembling buildings of the eastern make.[break][break] [break][break] After opening the large ornate doors, you are invited and welcomed by a large blazing hearth, tatami mat floors, and red carpeted stairs up to the second and third level. To the left is the dining room where several adventurers can gather and discuss every day topics. To the right is a sitting area filled with plush couches, and a serving bar filled with many spirits. [break][break] From the dining room and headed back into the mansion, you will find the kitchen and another door headed down into the cellar. A locked door unfortunately, one that only has one key which hangs around the Goddess's neck. From the back of the sitting area is the largest collection of tomes and books on all things from magic, to cooking, to crafting. [break][break] On the second level begins the living quarters, rows of rooms with each their own bathroom and balcony looking out. Large beds with curtains, ornate dressers and closets are serviced for every familia member. [break][break] Headed continually up the stairs is the third level which houses two large master bedrooms. One for the Goddess Izanami, and the other for her Head of House. They each have a separate study/library for special reading, bathroom, and large balcony to overlook a gorgeous courtyard filled with any and every type of plant found around Orario. [break][break] The Courtyard acts like a simple garden at first, but as you descend further into the trees, you will find a large greenhouse like structure that houses their private Olympic size pool, and training facility complete with restorative dummies, and weights for training. + IZANAGI FAMILIA [attr="class","MItxtbox"] [attr="class","MAextra"]
[attr="class","MAmonsterava"] |
[attr="class","MAmonstername"]IZANAGI
[attr="class","MAmonsterinfo"]HEAD OF THE HOUSE - N/A
|
[attr="class","MAmonsterbox"] [attr="class","MAmonsterboxtxt"] Description:Izanagi Familia are the servants of the primordial god of the Shinto mythos. Those who follow in his example are exceptional warriors, teaching and refining his principles within his familia. Being the creator within his mythos his name and reputation is widespread and well known, reknown to all as divine wrath. [break][break] Defeating the strongest monsters of the dungeon has the familia receive praise from Izanagi. Forming a bestiary of the encounters faced within the dungeon for adventurers. Protecting many with their network of knowledge and fighting prowess. Seeking to learn from monsters and defeat the creatures of the dungeon. [break][break] House of RISING SUN: Expectations are thwarted upon the sight of the domain of the god, for the building chosen by Izanagi was a forsaken church. Resting upon the leylines of the world said to reach to the endless depths through its foundation. Though the building at heart is simple, housing broken seats and a garden the god is seen often tending too. [break][break] Ornate doors decorate the entrance, with stained glass windows adorning the walls. With a broken rooftop letting light pour into the church giving life to the ornate flowers that form a garden at the heart of the building. Small rooms occupy much of the building, with what appears to be an endless staircase leading down. To where very few have that answer. + METIS FAMILIA [attr="class","MItxtbox"] [attr="class","MAextra"]
[attr="class","MAmonsterava"] |
[attr="class","MAmonstername"]METIS
[attr="class","MAmonsterinfo"]HEAD OF THE HOUSE - N/A
|
[attr="class","MAmonsterbox"] [attr="class","MAmonsterboxtxt"] Description: The House is largely composed of people that hit a point of no return in their lives. People who needed guidance, or were so tired of everything they were just waiting for the end. People who wanted to die but could never do it themselves. Those who have tried to find the House of Mysteries for years are sometimes successful, if Metis sees something in them that she likes. The House of Mysteries is made to inspire hope to its members, and give them something to aspire towards by showing them that nothing is impossible. Above all things, if nothing else, Metis gives her adventurers a place that's safe... A place to call home. [break][break] Metis being the Goddess of Mysteries, no one actually knows what her power is. Her actual influence on the world has been incredibly minor over the passing of time, and she doesn't appear in any history books using it. Those who meet her, namely her Familia members, would know her for being mostly calm with a playful side. She enjoys conversation and learning, and is fairly difficult to enrage. Their first meeting with Metis is normally uniform across all members, where they dream of getting lost in the woods and come across a shack. After picking up a necklace with a heart shaped, diamond pendant on it, Metis shows up and engages them in conversation. After that, they end up being able to find the actual shack in the real world. [break][break] House of Mysteries: has also been described by the long time members as the 'House of Wonders.' It's a place where paper birds fly around, tweeting as though they were truly the real deal. Waterfalls flow upwards, things that shouldn't move are perfectly able to. Large, marble, centaur statues roam the halls as its guards, and guides for those who get lost in its many twisting corridors. A grand library, filled with books seemingly without number is within the many halls of the House of Mysteries. Those within don't need to look for a book, just think of what book they need, if they know what it is. Those looking for a specific type of book find that those books come to them, and let them choose. There are rooms that lead to vast forests with fairies and bio-luminescent plants. Doors that lead to worlds that put people at peace, even ones that let members go to places in the city that saves them from having to walk vast distances. + YEOMRA FAMILIA [attr="class","MItxtbox"] [attr="class","MAextra"]
[attr="class","MAmonsterava"] |
[attr="class","MAmonstername"]KING YEOMRA
[attr="class","MAmonsterinfo"]HEAD OF THE HOUSE - N/A
|
[attr="class","MAmonsterbox"] [attr="class","MAmonsterboxtxt"] Description: The familia of King Yeomra is composed of some of the most diverse people. Those who seek guidance outside of Orario or specifically that of the underworld’s judge are accounted into the wealthy number of members under the king’s ruling. Yeomra is well suited for adventurers with a thirst for knowledge in more fields than adventuring. Followers under his ruling can be considerably difficult to understand or have extreme reputations on either side of the scale. Yeomra is known to scout for the morally confused or prestigious talents. As a deity, his story scales to the furthest of lands and contains more than a dozen variations. While he may come off as intimidating, there are many layers to each be discovered and gain from. A popular opinion by his followers is that his personality can be summed up as “confusing”. [break][break] The familia, while collective, is split into various goals. The primary goal of the familia is further building upon the kingdom’s land, known as Saint Gaya, while other major ones include exploring the tower and training for War Games. It is not uncommon for those seeking a peaceful, humble life to live in Saint Gaya.
[break][break] HOUSE OF MORALITY: While his title speaks of the inevitable, the house serves as a moral compass to steer his followers into a better afterlife. The house, known as Saint Gaya, is located in the same-named area far north of Orario. The building is a large ten floored mansion with a large river-stone, gated entrance built on the edge of a large body of water in Saint Gaya. [break][break] Once allowed through the large steel gates should you be truly immersed in the different atmosphere. Unlike its surroundings, the scenery bleeds craftful beauty. It spans across 200 acres of land and possesses an expansive formal garden, training grounds, river and ever-inviting valley of conservation surrounding the lawns. Built into both sides of the exterior are waterfalls. The exquisite kingdom is made of natural stone and stucco with precious neutral grey and brown colour schemes to accompany it.
[break][break] Opening the doors welcomes you to breathtaking view of the fanciful living quarters for members of the familia. The first room contains polished maple wood flooring, layered with a thin tan rug that covers the inner majority. The cover is designed with faded brown floral designs. The first things to see in the main room are a wall-glass view of the ocean straight ahead, a carved stone fireplace to the right, arch-pillars leading to the staircase and various placements of furniture for lounging. A bit further down from the fireplace, there’s an entrance to the dining room. [break][break] The eatery contains various windows to order food from. In the kingdom, chefs are offered positions to serve the kingdom as a means of employment. From the peak of morning to the settling moon, various chefs will cook to request. Alcohol is served sparingly but is strictly monitored. Familia members are not permitted to be drunk, but can pass buzzed. There is a catalog for members containing their alcoholic limits and food preferences. [break][break] From the dining room, there is another entrance leading to a secondary staircase. From the upper floors, there contains a bathing area (gender specific, floor 2), praying area (floor 3), sleeping quarters (floor 3), library (floor 4) and storage area (floor 5). All of the other floors are locked for higher ranking members of the familia. It is sworn into privacy that their usages not be discussed. + POLEMOS FAMILIA [attr="class","MItxtbox"] [attr="class","MAextra"]
[attr="class","MAmonsterava"] |
[attr="class","MAmonstername"]POLEMOS
[attr="class","MAmonsterinfo"]HEAD OF THE HOUSE - N/A
|
[attr="class","MAmonsterbox"] [attr="class","MAmonsterboxtxt"] Description: Polemos Familia is home to an unparalleled standard of fighter. Despite being labelled by the ignorant as ‘bloodthirsty’ and ‘ruthless’, despicable behavior is in no way tolerated by the god. One of the wealthiest houses, its members famously live very comfortably. Don’t expect life here to be easy, though — above all, this is a house of ambition and Polemos expects results from all he welcomes into his home. [break][break] All members receive personal tutelage in combat under the god himself, and seasoned warriors are expected to help out anyone less advanced than them. Those who join the familia all happen upon the god when wandering alone, he will challenge them to a fight, promising a grand reward should they defeat him. Those who impress him some way or another, regardless of if they win (for no one ever does), are offered a home within his guild house. He does not judge on fighting ability alone, but attitude too. Those with no fighting experience at all have been known to join Polemos Familia, as well as those whose main interests do not lie in combat, but the latter group is a small one.
[break][break] HOUSE OF STRENGTH: The guild house is an impressive structure of marble with largely Greek-inspired architecture, surrounding an open courtyard. Its interior décor takes the red and gold the god himself favors in his wear and a number of beasts, pets of Polemos, roam free. On the first floor are the storage rooms and social areas, where members can eat and mingle with one another. The second floor houses the living quarters. The courtyard serves as an area for casual sparring, while more intense training facilities can be found on the rooms of the third floor, which are all identical. The terrain of these rooms changes every day to expose members to a variety of environments, they can also be altered with the god's magic for the sake of training. The fourth floor is dedicated to the arts and culture, and is where the library, along with a number of sculptures and paintings on display, can be found. + Nyarlathotep familia [attr="class","MItxtbox"] [attr="class","MAextra"]
[attr="class","MAmonsterava"] |
[attr="class","MAmonstername"]Nyarlathotep
[attr="class","MAmonsterinfo"]HEAD OF THE HOUSE - N/A
|
[attr="class","MAmonsterbox"] [attr="class","MAmonsterboxtxt"] Description: A patron of the inquisitive, the innovative and the insatiable. Those of the Nyarlathotep familia value erudition and expertise, learning and enlightenment, and it is little surprise those recruited into the ranks are often masters or scholars of their magic or craft. To their God, the Tower of Babylon is an experiment and mortals are the independent variable. [break][break] Of a pantheon of Outer Gods who are often indifferent to the Lower World, Nyarlathotep, unlike his cosmic brethren, delights in the creativity of mortals from this plane. He is a generous and playful sponsor of adventurers whose thirst for knowledge is unquenchable. His blessings hone ingenuity and invention. Nyarlathotep understands that potential can go unrecognised, unvalued, and that mortals can be outcasts for reasons far beyond their control. His sympathy goes to the misunderstood. [break][break] Genius has its cost in more ways than one. But in the pursuit of knowledge, aren’t consequences irrelevant?
[break][break] HOUSE OF KNOWLEDGE: An unmarked, two-story building in between the bars and brothels of the Entertainment District; drunk revellers are disappointed when they open the doors and find a library. They’ll leave the doors to shut behind them, unaware of the endless book shelves that extend deep underground. [break][break] Genre is irrelevant. Any book is permissible for its shelves. The House of Knowledge’s collection has been amassed across hundreds of years and all are systematically arranged and accessible. Magic means books return to their original place left out but those books out will earn you a disapproving look from the library’s resident cataloger and guard. Molly’s a human who abstains from speaking but will put blankets on visitors who fall asleep at their desks. Sometimes, when her arm stretches out to reach for a tome and her sleeves ride up, you can suckers on her bare flesh. [break][break] Try as you might, something muffles sounds beyond 15 feet of each person. Despite this effect, Molly still seems to know when you’re making a lot of noise. The Nyarlathotep familia are often encouraged to stay and read; lanterns hang over desks but also between luxurious but worn sofas with pillowy cushions. There are no beds but, oftentimes, people find themselves curling up in their own corner of the library to sleep in the quiet the House of Knowledge provides. [break][break] There is a secret entrance that leads out into Northern Orario for the shyer in the familia, a longer underground path that leads to a hatch at the back of a small bookstore. It is ill-lit, cramped, but people are permitted to take it if they really want.
