| A katsuki had set the cookie bag back down and slid off the fountain's edge before grabbing her nodachi and sliding it into a holder on her back. He had asked if the blade was too long for her, which, the one foot of blade sticking out above her head would agree with him. "No." she said in a soft, gentle tone. He didn't ask her for any specifics or explanations for the blade, just asked if it was too long and said it might cause her problems. He didn't need to know that she'd been using the weapon for years, so she didn't mention anything about the train of blood and flesh behind her.
'Combat supporter, huh?' he pondered, possibly thinking out loud. Akatsuki said "Yes. I prioritize killing monsters over collecting crystals; but, I still walk behind you." Most people had never heard of a combat supporter since they technically didn't exist as an official, guild recognized, role for adventurers. Akatsuki was the first one, but news of the sub-class had spread since her first dive into the labyrinth.
Aurel had asked what familia she came from. Akatsuki hadn't fully understood the term 'familia' since she was raised as part of a clan that distanced itself from the outside world. Still, she said "I serve Lady Metis." with as much pride as her less-than-intimidating voice would allow. "You still haven't introduced yourself." Akatsuki said, reminding the man of his manners. He had already asked the girl for her familia name, but had yet to even give his own name. Either way, he now knew that Akatsuki belonged to the House of Mysteries. It was a familia that many knew about, but no one outside of it knew anything beyond the name, and that it contained things that no one would believe- but not what those 'things' were. The name 'Metis' wasn't in many books, and of the few times it was mentioned, none of those said what her power or role in the history of life was. From start to finish, the house was truly a mystery.
It was an exclusive familia, as well. Everyone in it had been invited by the house goddess, no one could just walk in and request to join. No one even knew where to look to find the house, or what 'qualifications' there were to be noticed by the goddess.
Once Aurel had introduced himself, or even if he didn't, Akatsuki would ask "What familia do you serve?" and then she would ask "Do you wish to enter the dungeon? I assure you, you won't be disappointed."

| A katsuki had woken up quite early to arrive at the tower when there was the most amount of potential clients available. The use of a combat supporter still wasn't widespread since most parties had enough people to handle killing enemies, so they only wanted someone to collect their loot. She knew that it would take her a while to be chosen by someone to accompany them because of this.
Akatsuki was sitting at the fountain with a rather generous sized bag of cookies on her lap, eating them one by one while she waited for someone to come along who would be looking for a supporter that can actually handle themselves in a fight. Next to her was a nodachi, which was a longer, straighter type of katana than the standard variety. Being three foot, six inches, Akatsuki was just barely taller than the tallest Prums, and was almost always confused for being one. To put size into understandable scale... Akatsuki's nodachi was six inches longer than Akatsuki was tall.
A man had sat down next to her and had a katana that he was fiddling with. Akatsuki blinked a couple of times before taking the bag of cookies off her lap and set it down next to her. She then turned on the fountain and sat on her knees, facing the man. Akatsuki then leaned forward and gently patted the man's leg with her entire hand, which was extremely small. Once she had his attention, she would reach into her cookie bag and pull out a soft baked cookie that was a little bigger than her hand and looked to Aurel- whose name she didn't know. She looked at him with wide eyes, carrying an innocent and inquisitive nature. Akatsuki then held the cookie out towards him and asked "Do you have a party?"
If Aurel hadn't taken the cookie, Akatsuki would gently place it on his leg. She would pull one out for herself and take a small bite out of it before saying "I'm Akatsuki, rất vui được gặp bạn- It's nice to meet you." She would then perform a small, oriental styled bow while still sitting on her knees. "I'm a combat supporter." Akatsuki would point to her nodachi, to show that she was armed. Her armor was lightweight, which was good considering her small frame. Metal would weigh her down, especially when swinging a sword as big as she was. The armor also had a great deal of coverage, leaving almost no exposed skin- showing that she favored functionality over aesthetic. Of course, her extremely gentle demeanor and the lack of a 'thousand mile stare' could trick most into thinking she had no experience.

| T he two had agreed that Akatsuki had nothing to apologize for, and that they'd let her pay for their meal. They seemed to be somewhat impressed by her work with the man, which made Akatsuki look down to avoid eye contact while her face retained its slightly pink shade. "We should probably find a table that's not destroyed..." she said and began walking towards the booth she was at. While walking, Aya had asked what her name was, and then asking if she needed a booster seat- immediately making the pink fly off her face and a cold expression takes its place. Those fluffy bastards on her head were getting the rubbing of a lifetime after that... There will be no mercy from the tiny titan.
Once seated, Akatsuki would say "I'm Akatsuki, rất vui được gặp bạn- It's nice to meet you." in a gentle tone, completely masking her irritation at being called small. Akatsuki had a tendency to use her native language, but she always gave the Orarian translation directly after so her company didn't have to guess at what she said. Akatsuki was sitting on her knees, on the padded seat of the booth, which gave her enough height to properly eat off the table. Whoever was sitting beside her would notice that Akatsuki's legs were so short that she her knees had several inches before her knees were even touching the edge of the seat. She waved over to the bar maid to signal her to come over, who did so cautiously after having watch the three women fight their own battles, one of which was surprising.
She was a young looking elf girl that could easily pass for twenty in human years, but was probably double or triple that in reality. She asked if she could be of service and Akatsuki said "That man said he would replace my steamed lobster as a way of apologizing. Please put it on his tab. I'll also have a bag of cookies, a danish, some water, and a salad. He can cover the bill for those as well. I'll be covering the charge for my friends." in a respectful tone. The barmaid turned to the other two and asked if they knew what they'd like to get, or if they needed some time to decide.
Once the barmaid had gone off, Akatsuki would say "I don't mean any disrespect when I ask this, but what are you both? Umm... you see... I was raised far from here, where only humans are; so, I don't really know about the other races." Her face was red and she was playing with her fingers while talking, just so she didn't have to look the other two women in the eyes.

| A katsuki wasn't there for the alcohol, she didn't like the stuff. Even with weak sake, the alcohol tasted stronger than all-hell to her. She was there strictly for the food, which she was happily chewing on when a fight broke out not far from her. The table she was at got bumped by someone, but nothing was moved out of place at first, so she was more than content to not even address the goddess of fluffiness, and bastion of draconic beauty who were talking a few meters away.
It was at this point, halfway through her lobster tail that someone approached that Akatsuki already disliked... A young lad and his four friends, two of which Akatsuki didn't know. He had left his entourage of hussies at the brothel, evidently. They weren't actually harlots, but they didn't exactly try to stop him from being a cringe lord the last time he spoke to Akatsuki, and now he was back with a crimson face... drunk. "Surprised to see you here, miss-" "Go away." Akatsuki said in a soft, but cold tone. The man immediately got irritated since last time he wasn't allowed to finish a sentence, either. "Look, I'm trying to-" "I don't care. You disgust me." Akatsuki said and took a bite of her lobster. "Hey, you gonna let that prum-bitch talk down to you, like that!?" one of the new guys said, making one of the other boys' face turn pale as a ghost. He was the one male present when Akatsuki sent his buddy to the moon a few days back... and he wasn't drunk enough to forget.
New guy number two had started addressing Akatsuki with "Look, runt-" and instantly took the rim of metal platter to the face with enough force to make the plate bend inwards. Akatsuki didn't even care that half her lobster had just gone to waste. The first new guy had watched with wide eyes as his friend was sent flying backwards, and Akatsuki had no intention of forgiving him for his disrespect, either. She jumped up to stand on her seat before pushing off and driving her kneecap into his nose, breaking it instantly and sending him to his back. The fuckboy who approached her first had forgotten what he was dealing with and went in for a punch to defend his friends. Noble, but futile.
Akatsuki, while still falling from kicking the other man in the face, grabbed the boy's fist and pulled him down with her, making him bend over. She let go of his fist as soon as her foot hit the ground, spinning on that same foot with her other leg extended. The arching of her leg made it so the side of her foot smacked right into his jaw, making him fly sideways. That foot kept swinging until it hit the ground where she dropped low while spinning, extending her leg and sweeping it under the legs of the fourth man- who had done nothing wrong at all, was just unlucky enough to be acquainted with the first fellow. While he was falling, as soon as he got to Akatsuki's waist, the small human's elbow was rammed into his chest, right where his heart was. The force was enough to compress his ribcage, forcing his heart to make an extra pump and send a rush of blood to his break. The sudden increase of blood pressure that wasn't ordered by his brain, combined with the fact that he hit the ground hard enough to crack the wood floor, caused him to be knocked out instantly. This all happened over the course of a few seconds, so the two talking women would only hear a metallic banging sound, immediately followed by a series of whacks.
The man that she hit with her plate had recovered quick, he was big, probably used to taking hits. He was charging at Akatsuki, who glared at him with an unamused look. As the bulky man got closer, Akatsuki ducked down to dodge his sweeping kick, letting it go right over her head. She spun and moved under him, coming up behind him and jumping to send send a kick straight between his legs, compressing the illogically sensitive and exposed organ between them. The man began falling to his knees, but Akatsuki wasn't so kind as to show mercy to an enemy. She grabbed the back of his shirt and pulled herself over him, getting in his face and slamming her small palm into his stomach. The force was enough to knock him back onto his feet. Two more palm thrusts into his stomach sent the man backwards step by step, and a kick to his kneecap had made it bend backwards, officially ending his career as an adventurer. Akatsuki then shifted her weight to her right foot and began a spin kick, making contact with his pelvis, lifting the man off the ground, and as the kick finished, sent the man flying. The man would fly between the talking women and slamming onto their table, ruining any food that may have been there.
Of course, Akatsuki wasn't finished. The two girls would see the three-foot, six-inch tall woman jump between them with her fist extended. As she brought it down on the man's stomach, his body would arch forward and a combination of blood, spit, and tears would get airborne. Meanwhile, the legs of the table would give in and it would crack in half, destroying the table and sending splinters everywhere. Akatsuki would stand up with one foot on the ground, one foot on the man's chest, with the heel turning, making the man feel even more pain. He wheezed "I'm sorry..." while crying and bleeding from the mouth. Akatsuki looked down at him with a cold, uncaring, unfeeling, hateful, glassed glare. Her expression immediately turned surprised as she realized something... Akatsuki took her foot off the man and turned around, giving a polite bow to the two women. "I apologize for interrupting your conversation. Please give me a moment and I'll gladly make it up to you." she said in a very respectful, very calm, and gentle tone.
Akatsuki then turned around, dropped low with her knee on the man's chest, and grabbed him by the tuff of his hair. Her expression took a turn again, becoming cold and angry once more. "I was enjoying steamed lobster with jasmine tea before you ruined it... Replace my meal." she said in a tone that implied 'no' wasn't an option. The man nodded quickly, the cut from where the plate hit his face still bleeding. Akatsuki had let him go and turned to the two women, looking up at them she realized something... Horns and floofy ears... Akatsuki's cheeks turned slightly pink as she looked at the women and wanted to touch their heads. "I'm sorry again, please let me pay for your meals in return?" she said apologetically.

| S cherza wasn't too terribly hurt and she even said as such. Akatsuki could tell that she was a little bit green, but had formal training. She didn't bother with spending any time to coach her, or lecture her about anything she could've done better. From personal experience, Akatsuki preferred learning by messing up and telling herself where to improve. The important thing for now was that Scherza wasn't making it seem like flesh wounds were something more grave.
With all of the crystals collected, Akatsuki had notified Scherza. She would also say "From what I've been told, the deeper you go in, the stronger the enemies are. Those kobolds can from deeper in, so from here, we'll probably run into less intelligent enemies. I think the worst is something called..." Akatsuki paused, her face taking on a slightly confused look as she began trying to remember the name. "Gob... Gobble... Goblet... Gobi...?" Akatsuki puffed her cheeks in frustration from not being able to remember the name of the stupid creature. "They're smaller than kobolds, supposedly ugly, allegedly dumb, and smellier." she said and put her bag back on her back.
Akatsuki would inform Scherza that she would follow her lead. She also kept a hold of the sword belonging to the girl. If asked what Akatsuki thought about it, the ninja would say "I'm no good at crafting, but I have much experience with blades. This one... It is heavy, but also uneven. The metal was poorly forged, causing it to be denser in some areas, making the swings awkward. The blade was sharpened extensively to counter this, but due to improper tempering, the blade has slight warps in it. It is beginner's work, likely bought for very little if not given away. While it was used to delay their deaths, had they invested in proper equipment, they likely would have never needed to retreat." Regardless of if Scherza had asked Akatsuki about the sword, Akatsuki would say "Umm.. Scherza-san? If I'm not overstepping my role, might I ask which familia you're from? And, why did you join them?" in a genuinely curious tone.

| A katsuki's blade was held in the City Guard stance, two hands on the hilt of the blade with the blade extended directly in front her at an angle, with one foot held back to keep her balance distributed. There was now six enemies remaining, and the one with the sword had been disposed of. "I'll get the three on the right." Akatsuki said and turned herself to face them. The kobolds had looked at Akatsuki with an unhappy expression. "Their leader's gone, but desperation breeds recklessness. Don't underestimate them." she said before moving towards the three targets.
The first target had began moving towards Akatsuki, and the second broke off to try and flank her, using the most previous order received to judge its actions. The third, however, had began making a b-line towards Scherza. Akatsuki had turned around and threw her nodachi, sending it straight into the kobold's leg and making it fall to the ground. It had grabbed its leg just above where the sword was and began screaming in pain, too afraid to take the sword out. Those who had seen as much combat as Akatsuki had developed sharp instincts. The most basic knowledge was that if you turn your back to an opponent, they will try to hit you in it.
Akatsuki pushed off the ground to begin performing a backflip, moving above the kobold who's claws were inches away from her spine. The kobold that was flanking her had been forced to adjust its angle of attack and come at Akatsuki from the front. The royal guards were her clan's most elite soldiers, and as such, they were trained for as many situations as possible- including the loss of their weapons.
The first and second kobolds were coming towards her at marginally different distances. The one to reach her first was the one that she jumped over, and it had tried to stab at her with the claws. Akatsuki was smaller than them -probably smaller than even the goblins in this place- and had the advantage because of it. Being at a lower angle, she had a clearer view of vital spots, and was a much harder target to hit- even with hand-to-hand. Her first action was to swing her hand to the side and grab the wrist of the kobold and pull it towards her. While doing this, she shifted her weight so that the side of her closest to the kobold was rooted in place. She rammed her shoulder into the lizard freak's stomach and lifted it up, taking the creature off the ground while its momentum sent it over Akatsuki. As it did so, Akatsuki shifted her weight to match the creature's movements, keeping her from being crushed or tipping over.
The kobold that was flanking her at first wasn't forgotten. As soon as the other one had mostly cleared its arch, Akatsuki dipped low to dodge an incoming claw swipe. She jumped and slammed the top of her head into the kobold's chin, knocking it back while also disorienting it slightly. It hurt Akatsuki a bit, too; but, not nearly as much. She landed quickly after and sent her right fist into the kobold's stomach while moving forward, forcing the kobold back just a bit. The kobold tried to grab her with its right hand, and Akatsuki used her free left one to block and redirect the attack outward. Keeping one foot rooted, Akatsuki lifted her leg in a wide, vertical, circular, arch to make the side of her foot smack the side of the kobold's jaw and send it falling sideways.
When she landed, she was facing the first kobold, the one she threw over herself, which had already recovered and had begun charging at Akatsuki while letting out a blood curdling battle cry. It was no longer a matter of 'kill this bitch' for this one. It had known that it and its comrades were going to die. This was now a matter of 'I'll kill you, before you can kill me' and its battle cry expressed that sentiment perfectly. It jumped, trying to body slam Akatsuki and pin her to the ground, probably assuming its partner would finish the job. Akatsuki had move to the side, letting the monster crash unceremoniously to the ground where it quickly got up while trying to slash at Akatsuki's torso on the way to a standing position. She jumped back, receiving only a scratch on the leather of her armor that exposed a bit of the skin below.
The halls were narrow, and quite literally, Akatsuki had her back to the wall. The desperate kobold had moved towards her without pausing, trying to go for the old stabbing once more. Akatsuki had dropped all the way to the ground while sweeping her leg along it, catching one of the kobold's ankles and ruining any balance it had, sending it to the ground. She quickly jumped forward, over it, into a front roll where she was standing between the two monsters. Their friend with the sword had been slowly dragging himself away, further into the dungeon, but hadn't gotten far at all.
The one that had been kicked in the jaw had got up and rushed towards her, going in for a tackle. Akatsuki had jumped into a side-roll and let it crash into its partner while she ran back towards their buddy with a leg problem. She grabbed the sword and cut the kobold's leg at an angle while tearing it out, making it fall back down and begin screaming again while bleeding profusely. Akatsuki then rushed back towards the two monsters who were regaining their center. They came at her together once more, seeing no other way out of the situation. Akatsuki had swept her nodachi upwards, cutting off one kobold's claw. In mid-swing, she turned the blade and cut in the opposite direction, removing the rest of the kobold's arm. It backed up while screaming and clutching the bleeding joint, backing right into its partner.
The second kobold had grabbed the first one out of instinct, catching it while also seeming to begin drawing a blank. This was common among organisms, the brain knows how to react based on pre-programmed instructions that we call instincts. When a new situation is presented, like having to choose between throwing your injured ally aside or not, the mind sometimes freezes entirely and opts to do nothing. This was the worst time for the kobold to choke. Akatsuki didn't know mercy when it came to battle. She turned the blade on its side and thrusted it through the ribs of the first kobold, straight through the chest, into the second one. She immediately ripped it out and spun around while swinging the blade, moving behind the pair and beheading the one that had choked. She brought the blade back around and stabbed the other kobold in the back of the neck before raising the blade, cutting straight up the back of its skull where both enemies turned to black dust at the same time.
The last kobold for Akatsuki was the one that was holding its severed limb. She approached it with no sense of urgency and looked down on the creature with a cold, unfeeling expression. "Xin lỗi vì đã để bạn đau khổ- Sorry for letting you suffer." she said and then raised her sword and rammed it into the monster's eye, straight into its brain, making it join its buddies in dushood. Akatsuki flicked her nodachi and then turned to face Scherza, this time with her standard, gentle and slightly inquisitive expression. If she was still in combat, Akatsuki would go help.
one all of the enemies had been disposed of, Akatsuki would help with collecting the black crystals that they dropped. She would also ask "Are you injured, Scherza-san?" to confirm the condition of her team. Along with that, Akatsuki would take up the sword from the alpha kobold. She would examine it and say "Bình yên cho người sa ngã- Peace to the fallen." after her very quick observation. She would then flick the sword a few times to gain a feel for its weight, as well as how it was distributed. "When we finish, I'll bring this back to the registration lady so she can give it to that person's party. If we're lucky, we'll find the corpse to go with it." if Scherza had asked Akatsuki why that was luck or important at all, Akatsuki would say "Come home with your blade, or on it." It was one of the many creeds that her and her people lived by, and she would only say it if Scherza had asked.

| I t was battle time. Akatsuki had much more experience in fighting than Scherza, it would seem. She had trained with her clan's guard from a very young age, getting the head guard to train her in his spare time by saying that if she was to serve the heiress, she would need to be able to protect her as well. That was the only reason she trained, and she never stopped training even after she'd become the second in line for inheriting the clan. Akatsuki had been in many fights, not just sparring, but fighting people when she was reclaiming her sister from captivity. Killing wasn't anything new to her; and, while she did carry a very sweet attitude most the time, she also had the side of her that was a battle-hardened savage.
Akatsuki let her party leader run in first, getting the strike on the first enemy she could and getting a few hits on the creature. The problem with rapiers was that they were extremely precise weapons, making very small holes, and almost exclusively -but not one hundred percent- for stabbing. Akatsuki had seen the kobold turning to try and grab Sherza from behind, despite having been slashed on the back and stabbed. She began moving, closing the gap very quickly and swinging her blade to create a much deeper cut on the lizard's back. Katana's were the exact opposite from rapiers. Much the same way most rapiers had a bladed edge for slashing, katana's had a pointed tip for stabbing. However, a two-handed katana's strength wasn't in it's stabbing ability. Vertical pressures could distort a katana like Akatsuki's and even damage it... Her katana was made for slashing and cutting clean through bodies. Despite the blade looking damaged, it was a seven man sword- meaning it can cut through seven men's torso's in a single swing before getting stuck in the eight. This being the case, even though Akatsuki hadn't put much pressure behind her attack, the cut had been deep enough to sever the kobold's spine and paralyze it.
She didn't waste time with finishing the monster off. It was no longer a priority, and Akatsuki had seen Scherza had begun going after the second opponent. Two kobolds with the same scale patterns had flanked their partner, who was doing his best to keep Scherza distracted. 'They're using tactics...' Akatsuki thought to herself. She was told many of the early enemies were absolute idiots, this group seemed to be an outlier. Akatsuki had moved to Scherza's left, taking a lower stance while putting her nodachi to her left side and slashing the legs of the kobold that was flanking her partner. She spun around on her heel, getting behind the kobold while changing the direction of her swing to cut the creature's back, cutting it's spine like the one before. Her blade was brought around and gripped with two hands as she made a stabbing motion behind Scherza, aimed at the kobold that was coming from her right flank. This one had more time to react to Akatsuki and abandoned his initial attack on Scherza in favor of moving to evade the blade coming at him. The result was that Akatsuki ended up cutting the side of its head, instead of running the blade through its eye and into the brain.
This was the exact definition of combat support. Akatsuki didn't aim to kill their enemies, but rather, she aimed to do the things that her ally couldn't do. They can't watch their own backs, so she watched it for them. The numbers were too great for them to kill all of them, so Akatsuki had weakened the enemies with extremely precise attacks or killed them outright if she could. She didn't care about glory when the life of her ally was at risk, and she never left their side.
The one that had barely evaded death had jumped back, knowing that Akatsuki's danger zone was limited to the length of her blade. On Scherza's right, where that kobold was, was three more. To her left was two, and directly in front her was the one she was facing. Behind that one, there was another that was moving forward with the sword that they were asked to retrieve. It was getting distance while also grunting to the others. It was also larger than the other nine, meaning it must have been the alpha. Akatsuki would wait for Scherza to strike at her opponent before taking a few steps from behind her, towards the one that took a step back. This had left Akatsuki open to be flanked, and any sub-par enemy would take the bait.
One of the kobolds on Scherza's right was that sub-par enemy and went in for a slash with its claws. Akatsuki had put her sword against her back, using the flat side to block the claws before turning the blade towards the kobold's hand and moving it to cut it. The kobold retracted its hand and spun on her heel once more, bringing her nodachi to a modified o gasumi stance (also known as inside-right/left) and stabbed directly through the kobold's lung. She withdrew the sword with her left hand and user her right to throw the dying kobold at the one Scherza was fighting and shouting "Incoming!" as a means of distracting it and giving her partner an opening for her own attack.

| A katsuki stared at Ismene as she tried to grab the cookie from her hand, trying her best not to show her own personal agitation. Ismene's hand was absolutely massive compared to her own, which reminded her of how incredibly tiny she was... Then, after she ate the cookie, the gorilla called Akatsuki small... Her eyebrow twitched in frustration as she forced herself not to kick Ismene out of that crack. Akatsuki had finished eating her cookie and said "Akatsuki. Thật vui được gặp bạn- it's nice to meet you." she said, respectfully. (Pronunciation: Dat voo-ee doo-oak gap ban)
Akatsuki had taken another cookie from her bag while asking "What's your name?" with a slightly inquisitive expression about her. To be completely honest, she was more curious about this person's gender. Ismene's face and body said male, but her voice suggested the possibility of it being the contrary. Akatsuki didn't feel comfortable with straight up saying 'You look masculine as fuck but sound like a chick' or even asking 'Are you a guy or girl?' so she was opting to keep quiet about that part. She began eating the cookie after asking what Ismene's name was and also handed the woman another cookie.
A very large man was passing behind Akatsuki that was decked out in some pretty fancy and heavy as all hell looking armor. Akatsuki quickly jumped down from her barrel and ran over to him, grabbing his hand and surprising him at the same time. He turned around with his fist ready, even going in for the strike but stopping as soon as he saw it was an extremely frail looking prum in what looked to be leather armor. Akatsuki didn't flinch, but looked at him with a very innocent expression and blinked while still holding onto one of his armored fingers. "Uh... Sorry- I thought you were someone else." he said in a slightly embarrassed tone. Akatsuki asked "Can you help me?" without even acknowledging the apology. Akatsuki had pointed in Ismene's direction and the man looked at Ismene with a blank expression, trying to figure out what form of logic lead her to think she could fit in there.
Akatsuki then pulled a cookie out and held it up to the man, saying "I'll share with you if you do." The man looked down at Akatsuki with his pupils shrinking and his cheeks beginning to turn red. It was hard for him to reject someone who was looking at him with Akatsuki's expression... It was so pure and caring, while also being slightly aloof, as though she didn't even know she was looking at him like that and wasn't even trying. He had places to be, things to do, but his hand -against his mind's will- reached to the cookie and gently took it, quickly stuffing it in his mouth. He hated cookies, they were too sweet; but this one, this cookie... was the best one he'd ever had.
The man walked over to where Ismene was and said, with still rosy cheeks, "I guess I don't mind lending a hand..." and grabbed Ismene's arm and began pulling. Nope. Stuck... "Wow, you really got yourself in there, man." he commented. If Ismene mentioned that she was female, he'd say "R-right, sorry." before trying to get another tug in. "You got any ideas on how to get outta there? Pulling doesn't seem to be helping much." he said to Ismene after his failed attempt.

| A katsuki had nodded in response to Scherza's comment about the man. Anyone who thought that Akatsuki would prefer doing absolutely nothing while her comrades took on the danger, and also lacked the ability to defend themselves, were weak- physically and mentally. Scherza had urged them to move onwards, saying she was eager to explore the dungeon. "Me, too." Akatsuki said while following closely behind.
As they crossed through the entrance to the tower, Akatsuki had took her backpack off to put away her cookie pouch. It easily took up a fair bit of space in the bag, but not so much that it would prevent them from having a long trek through the dungeon. When they were halfway through the lobby, Akatsuki had said "Scherza-san." to get the woman's attention. If Scherza hadn't acknowledged Akatsuki, then the small woman would speed up her steps and give a gentle tug at the base of Sherza's top. Once Scherza had responded to her, Akatsuki would say "This is my first time entering the dungeon. I would prefer to stay on the first level, but I won't abandon you if you choose to go deeper." Her tone was very calm, as always. Her eyes showed no signs of being afraid, nor did they suggest that she planned to go back on her word.
Moments later, a pair of adventurers would burst through the door leading to the first floor of the dungeon, slamming it shut behind them with haste while gasping for air. "They got Alana..." one of them said before resuming his panting. They turned around and saw Akatsuki and Scherza, and immediately said "Don't go in there... not yet." with a slightly panicked tone. It was a warning that any wise adventurer would heed. Akatsuki would look to Scherza and then look to the other two while walking forwards. "H-hey! You'll die if you go in there! They already got-" "I would rather die than live in fear." Akatsuki interrupted. She then bowed to them and said "Thank you for attracting opponents. I will avenge your friend." The adventurer stood silent as Akatsuki began opening the door for herself and Scherza, and then said "Wait!" Which made Akatsuki pause. "You should at least know what's in there... It's kobolds, ten of them. One of them has a sword... if you can bring it back, I'd appreciate it." Akatsuki nodded and then walked through the opening.
On the other side, there was rock walls and a dusty floor. Akatsuki could see down the tunnel wasn't really anywhere for monsters to hide, so she figured that they had retreated further back. "It's not as dark as I thought it would be." Akatsuki said before following behind Scherza. And, after a minute or two of walking, the tunnel would come to a sharp turn, where sure enough, there was ten kobolds waiting for them. These midget lizards were wearing two distinct sets of markings, meaning it was actually two packs that joined together. Akatsuki didn't freeze like most would, she immediately drew the sword from her hip and got ready for battle. The blade was almost as long as Akatsuki was tall, and had several cracks on the sides, which may lead some to believe that it was in poor condition; but, those cracks held their own secrets.

| I It wasn't too much longer before Akatsuki heard someone greeting her and commenting that they had never seen a combat supporter. The voice was female and seemed quite personable, with little-to-no ill intent towards her. Akatsuki looked up, holding the upper half of a cookie in her mouth and her eyes met a very beautiful woman with silver eyes. Her hair was long, though, not as long as Akatsuki's, and silky smoothe. The thing that stood out most to her was a pair of fox-like ears on top of her head that made Akatsuki's cheeks turn a slight shade of pink. They were cute and Akatsuki wanted to touch them. Lady Metis had told her that she needs to get to know people before touching them, so Akatsuki had to force herself to not act on her desires.
It had been a full three seconds and Akatsuki had still been staring at those fluff bastions of softness. 'I bet they're warm...' Akatsuki thought before quickly darting her eyes down to the ground, her cheeks slightly redder- just by a couple shades. She bit down on the cookie and gave a quick nod before sliding off the edge of the water fountain and tying up her cookie pouch to put it away. Akatsuki then brushed the crumbs from her mouth before turning to the woman. 'Don't ask to touch her ears. Don't ask to touch her ears. Don't ask to touch her ears...' she repeatedly thought. She had said "My name's Akatsuki." in a very gentle voice while giving an oriental styled bow.
While Akatsuki was in the middle of her bow, a group of adventurers consisting of two men and three women had approached from behind and said "Excuse me, but would you happen to be available miss supporter?" Akatsuki had straightened up and turned around with a curious expression and saw the large group. She respectfully said "I've already agreed to aid someone." In all honesty, she didn't want to go with them because they left out the 'combat' part of her title. The man stepped forward and squatted down, saying "That's a real shame... It would be a lot more profitable for you, with us. There's more of us, so we can move a lot faster. All you gotta do is hang back and-" Akatsuki interrupted him and said "No, thank you. I have already agreed to go with a different party. It would be dishonorable to-" "Plus, with how small you are compared to the rest of us, you'd be a lot safer with us than with just one adventurer."
That was the final straw for Akatsuki. A massive vein bulge appeared on Akatsuki's temple and she quickly moved to grab her sign post, a quarter of the way from the bottom of the shaft. The man was still rambling nonsense, trying to break Akatsuki's agreement and giving her some crap about being able to do nothing. A combat supporter NOT partaking in combat- no, being asked to not partake in combat... Insulting! Akatsuki began swinging the signpost in an under-hand swing, the head of the board making a slight scratch in the ground as it ground against it. Akatsuki grabbed the bottom with her other hand as it was in mid swing, giving it even more force. The man was giving Akatsuki a bright smile, sure that the prospect of more money would get her to abandon someone she had just agreed to work with. This stupid smile stayed on his face when the very tip of the corner of the sign had began impacting his groin, and remained there even as the rest of the sign began making contact. He was squatting and the sign post kept going, cracking as the force behind Akatsuki's swing made him begin catching air. His smile began to fade as his mind registered the pain. Just as the head of the sign post had turned into nothing but splinters, the man began soaring straight up while screaming in pain.
Akatsuki held the half-sign with the pole resting on her shoulder and a clearly unhappy expression on her face. She glared at the rest of his party, one of which was holding his gonads since he could feel the other man's pain. Akatsuki said "I said no!" in a defiant tone, to which the three girls nodded in agreement. Akatsuki began turning back towards Scherza as her victim was beginning to return to earth. She looked Sherza in the ears again, quickly catching herself and returning her vision to the woman's eyes and said "I would be honored to accompany you. May I have your name, please?" Her eyes had returned to their original, semi-neutral, slightly inquisitive, version and her tone was once more gentle. As Scherza finished responding and the two were just beginning to walk away, the man would crash back to the ground. Despite the searing pain from his currently smoking manly-region, he would lift his head and say in a wheezing tone "Maybe... Next time?" after which Akatsuki would spin around on her heel and launch the rest of the signpost like a javelin, nailing the man square in the middle of his face and leaving a big red mark while also knocking him out.
